First week was Side Control top (how to be heavy, hand placement) and escape to guard (framing, hip out, shrimping).
Second week was Hip Heist sweep and what to do when you're in someone's closed guard (posture, hand position, base).
This week, we're hitting mount: what to do on top, what to do on bottom, and what to do even before you start moving.
All of this is really critical but often neglected in favor of fashionable submissions and guard play. That stuff is great, but imagine how much better at it you will be if you OWN the basics inside and out.
Next week, we'll be working the single-under and double-under pass.
