I taught the classic scissor sweep:
1) Proper Grips
2) Hip Movement
3) Knee placement (really important)
4) Simultaneous movements
5) Follow up
6) Then I show a high-percentage variation to use on wrestlers and opponents with good base.
Then Mark went over a move we call "The Markezinho Sweep" because although he probably didn't make it up, we don't know the name for it. It's a sweep for when your opponent stands up in your closed guard.
2) Foot placement
3) Two simultaneous movements when, if done right, makes your vict-... I mean opponent actually leave the ground.
4) Then I show a variation to be used in combination.
They should be available tonight, depending on how long youtube takes. They will be available only to members of Macarra BJJ Norwich.
